Rain, and when to change tyres

A drying track is where races are won and lost from the pit wall. Box a lap too early and the slicks have nothing to bite on. Box a lap too late and the cars that already changed are gone. Muretto now puts the weather in front of the whole crew, and turns it into a call.

A Weather tab on the live wall

Practice, qualifying and the race open with a Weather tab. It shows the track and air temperatures, a seven-step wetness meter with when the next step arrives, rain and which way it is trending, and the wind.

Wets or Slicks

The tyre call, as a verdict: box or stay. It says what the change is worth a lap and by the flag, and how the cars like yours are doing on each tyre.

Changeable Conditions

For the laps in between, Changeable Conditions shows how many laps until the other tyre is quicker, the gap between wets and slicks lap by lap, and who a tyre change carries you past.

The weather, afterwards

Track and air temperature, wetness and rain, and wind are charted over the session on the live wall. In Analysis they sit per lap, so a slow lap in the debrief comes with the conditions it was driven in.
